Students are required to wear full school uniform at all times.:
Grey Shirt
College Tie
Grey Trousers
Black Shoes - no runners
Black Socks
College Jacket must be worn to and from school

“Hoodies” or non-uniform jackets are not permitted. Students are asked to refrain from bringing them to school as they will be confiscated.

Break / Lunchtime
Students are expected to go into the yard at Break Time (weather permitting) 9:55am - 10:05am. Students may order food from the canteen for lunch at this time and collect it at 12:10pm. Students are given a numbered ticket when they order food. This ticket is exchanged for their ordered lunch at the beginning of lunchtime.

Lunchtime students are expected to eat lunch in the Hall and we encourage every student to participate in a lunchtime activity such as Chess, Athletics, Basketball etc.
Supervised study is also available in the College Library at lunchtimes.

Homework
Homework is a vital part of each student’s education. Students are required to complete homework in the allotted time. Often homework may be given on a Tuesday, but not required until Thursday or Friday. Some students have initial difficulty in managing this and feel they must bring every book home every evening. This is not necessary. Students should only bring home books that are required for that evening. Other books should be stored in lockers.

Sickness in school
A student who feels unwell must go to the College office and the secretaries will contact home. The secretaries must speak to a parent or guardian to arrange leaving school early.

Contacting your son
Should you need to get a message to your son
please do so through the College Office. Students are not permitted to have their mobile phones on during the day and are not permitted to send or receive text messages.

Year Head
Every year has their own Head - a teacher who looks after the specific needs of the group. The Year Head works in conjunction with the Principal and Deputy care for your son. Correspondence regarding attendance / lateness / illness should be addressed to your son’s Year Head. Should you have concerns regarding any issue in the College then the Year Head is the 1st person to contact.
